No known mechanical issues. Only selling as I'm moving to Alaska and cannot take all my cars. There are more photo's, and please ask me any questions. I've added pictures showing the most common places of rust on these trucks, tailgate, door jambs, and inner fenders. On Oct-01-18 at 19:47:50 PDT, seller added the following information: Also wanted to add that I have receipts for most if not all of the maintenance and parts I've listed above.

1996 BRONCO XLT SPORT 5.8 L Automatic transmission This beautiful black Bronco is in exceptional condition, turns heads, and receives compliments on a regular basis. The engine runs great and the transmission shifts through the gears tight and smooth. The four wheel drive operates as it should. The air condition blows cold and all power windows, power locks, cruise control etc. work flawlessly. You can jump in this truck and travel across the country with the confidence it will get you where you want to go. Next is a brief history on the Bronco, how I acquired it, and the work that has been done to it. I run a body shop for a living and the truck was brought to me by the son of it's second owner. The father purchased it used from a local Ford dealer in January of 1999 with just over 32,000 miles. Over the next 18 years the the truck was always well maintained mechanically but acquired some bumps and bruises and cosmetically was showing its age. **NOTE** In January of 2017 it was in a minor front end collision where there was an insurance company involved. The damage to the bumper and grille can be seen in the photos. Due to the insurance company involvement the vehicle history is noted as the truck being a total loss. this is strictly due to cost of repair in relation to its book value at that time. The insurance company never took ownership of the truck and there was no title transfer. As stated in the description above. This truck has a clean and clear title. That said, this notation can not be changed but it does not change the condition, upgrades or value of what this truck really is.. No total loss / salvage title etc... It now had about 167,000 miles. The son wanted to fix the dents and have it painted. He quickly realized that what he wanted to do was not in his budget and said he would likely end up selling it. This was in April of 2017. Hearing this I realized this was an opportunity to buy my daughter the Bronco she always wanted. We made a deal and I purchased the truck. Starting with a mechanically sound and 100% rust free Bronco is the truck you see in the photos. The last few pictures show the truck as purchased and a few during body and paint. Clearly the truck started life red but followed the path of most all of my vehicles and received the show quality black paint job it now has. The color change on the Bronco was done properly with panels removed for proper paint coverage. Repainted with PPG single stage acrylic urethane. With color sanding and buffing for a show car quality finish. The original factory aluminum wheels were refinish with a PPG Vibrance black pearl. The underside of the truck was left as it was. It has nothing to hide. It is clean and free from rust and debris. The engine, transmission, and transfer case are all clean and dry with no leaks. The truck actually still has it's factory installed exhaust system. Also, the spare tire on the back is the original as well and has never been on the ground. In addition to the paint work the truck also received the following to the interior / exterior:*All new exterior lamps: headlamps, park and signal lamps, tail lamps* Front bumper and bumper pads* Grille* Rear bumper step pads* New windshield* All Emblems: grille, fenders and tailgate * Right and left exterior mirrors* Right and left front door exterior belt moldings* All seals and rubber gaskets for the removable top * All seals and rubber gaskets for the tailgate including the glass run channel in the top * New stereo with CD player and 4 new speakers* New seat foam and upholstery on right and left front seat bottoms. The upholstery was replaced with factory original ford material. I have extra to go with the truck as well. Mechanically:* Rear main seal and oil pan gasket replaced* Engine tune up * Transmission fluid and filter replaced* Radiator replaced* Air condition service with all o-rings and orifice tube replaced* Water pump, radiator hoses, thermostat and coolant replaced* Power steering pump and serpentine belt replaced* Starter and alternator both rebuilt* New front brake rotors and pads* New front locking hubs* New rear brake wheel cylinder* 4 new 31-10.50-15 Firestone Destination A/T Tires Many of the upgrades were done as a preventative not due to part failure. Also for safety and peace of mind as this was done for my daughter. All that said, you may wonder why it is for sale. With my daughter in college she quickly has learned that this is a costly vehicle to operate. She also realized that it is way to nice to drive everyday. Thus she has reluctantly decided to part with her beloved Bronco for something more practical and economical. If you are looking for a very nice and reliable Bronco you will not be disappointed with this truck. Please feel free to call if you would like any additional information. Clint 757-478-4902
